Local Farmers, Local Fish

“Dan, Harrietta Hills owner, describes how rainbow trout are raised from eggs to market size on his farm. He also provides some helpful tips for what to look for when buying seafood. Harrietta Hills Trout Farm is the fifth stop Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant (IISG) staff made on our quest to learn more about fish farming, also known as aquaculture, in the Midwest.”
